 Today's Key West Photo January 16 2006 It's COLD in Key West today! We had a Wind Chill Factor of 72 degrees Fahrenheit! Anyway, this photo shows where I found Nemo this morning: in one of his favorite spots, lying in the Key West Sunshine, in the dirt, in our front yard. Of course, I just gave him a bath last night..... Woof! Grrrr! Good Dog!! Below here is a panorama photo of our house, Casa de Nemo, during Hurricane Rita last year. That's our house in the center, and if you look real close you can see Nemo sitting on the front porch couch. We had lost power by this time, but our house is so strong and water tight, we had to open the doors to get air!! Wilma was just about the same. You can see by the palm trees on the right that the winds were blowing (about 50 miles an hour!!). It was actually hard just to be able to stand up to take these shots. I had to hold onto a tree while ducking and dodging flying coconuts and other debris, but it was fun!!!
